ABOUT THE SONG

Emerging artist Nana Razaia continues to put her stamp on the music industry with her distinct brand of melodic playfulness and fresh approach to vocal production. Self produced and mixed, Tóxico celebrates the artist’s Brazilian roots with her first ever Baile Funk track!

“Being first gen, my upbringing had a huge emphasis on language and understanding the daily life of a Brazilian household in America. Over the years, I took it upon myself to discover more about contemporary Brazilian art and culture, the stuff my parents didn’t grow up on. My world opened up and my curiosity kicked into high gear. I became hooked on baile funk. My main goal with Tóxico is to show that even though I’m thousands of miles away from the motherland, I never lost my Brazilian identity.” -Nana

The Brockton- born songstress hopes to make her people proud with her high energy self produced bilingual track. Nana’s new offering follows the release of her 2023 EP NANA

Being the first and only child of immigrant Brazilian parents, Nana Razaia pays homage to her roots through her music. Ultimately, she is all about bringing worlds and genres together and the result is truly something special.
